Custom Truck One Source Exhibited Innovative Technology at Utility Expo 2023

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. (NYSE: CTOS) has introduced the Lightning PTO as part of its latest offerings under the Load King banner. This innovative solution is designed to assist customers in navigating regulatory and emissions challenges. Unveiled at the recent Utility Expo show held at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, KY, in September 2023, the Lightning PTO symbolizes the company’s commitment to electric and hybrid-electric chassis and equipment. This event marked another milestone in Custom Truck’s journey towards a sustainable future.

The Lightning PTO is an electric Power Take Off (PTO) designed to power hydraulics. This hybrid solution is not only compatible with standard 110AC outlets, but it also allows for simultaneous charging during diesel chassis usage. The Lightning PTO brings several benefits to the table, including significant diesel fuel savings, a reduction in CO2 emissions, considerable maintenance-cost savings, and less hydraulic oil movement wear and tear. Moreover, it contributes to safer job sites by reducing noise levels by up to 85%.

Moreover, a cutting-edge telematics and reporting dashboard accompanies the ePTO, empowering users with data on fuel savings, CO2 emission reductions, and maintenance savings. This intuitive tool tracks real-time and cumulative data, providing users with valuable insights into the impact of their equipment on the environment and their bottom line. The dashboard also gives detailed breakdowns of the operation hours in electric and diesel modes, allowing customers to assess their carbon footprint and make informed decisions for future operations. The Lightning PTO, with its advanced features and dashboard, solidifies Custom Truck One Source’s commitment to developing solutions that are efficient, environmentally friendly, and beneficial to its customers.
