Testing the future of EV charging

Vehicle Interoperability Testing Symposium on May 10* and 11, 2023. With over 50 anticipated EV and EVSE companies performing interoperability testing, this event is your chance to see the future of mobility in America.

Please note that the Testing Symposium will be entirely outside. Small tents will be provided to testers, but otherwise equipment will be exposed to the elements. Please plan accordingly. 

Please note, for safety purposes any EVSE or Test System connected to the host’s local grid connection must be Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified equipment. During the registration process you will be required to provide the UL certification number of your type of equipment.

Thanks to generous funding provided by the California Energy Commission, most registration fees will be less than a quarter the standard price. As part of this partnership, CharIN will collect, aggregate, and anonymize generalized testing results and include these in a publicly-available event findings report to the California Energy Commission. Testing results will be aggregated in such a way that individual companies or equipment will not be identifiable. The goal of the report is to help the industry identify common gaps in standards conformance and develop a set of best practices and recommendations for future industry improvements.
